Re:After change the admin password/name, I can't log. First, you can restart the router and try to use the default and custom username and password to login; If does not work, you may change another web browser or device and give it a shot. Otherwise, you may need hard reset the router and reconfigure/re-setup the router.
For example, if a specific user attempts to login with wrong username or password 3 times, I should show the dialog or message that the user needs to try again after 10 minutes (as an example) Than after 10 minutes, the user can login again with correct username and password.
So I have a group of 100 workflows that are on a set schedule, and for the past week they have all been failing. In the schedule manager under results they all read incorrect username/password. All of the workflows run from a remote machine, and this problem started after the remote machines password was changed, so it is definetly linked to that.
Note: Replace IP_or_FQDN with the actual IP or FQDN of the VMware Aria Operations UI. Click the drop-down on the User icon in the upper right corner and click Change Administrator Password. Enter the current admin password, then enter and confirm a new password. Click Save. Log out and back into the admin UI using the new password to confirm it
Jono. DNS, Domain Registration and Time out of sync are the most common issues. Check the Event logs on the PC's and Server for errors is a good start. Check the time at the cmd prompt on PC and Servers to ensure in sync. DNS may be issue means, password resetting was replicated to users successfully.
For cause 1: Check carefully if the username and/or password are truly valid. A simple test you could do is to login into the SuccessFactors instance providing these values. For cause 2: Try to reset the password, this could help to synchronize it (Under Reset User Passwords).
